Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies WiseMerc Costumes uses, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, and they help site owners understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixel tags, work in the same spirit.

Cookies We Set

  • Strictly necessary cookies. WordPress sets session cookies (for example wordpress_logged_in_) so that registered users can stay signed in, and LiteSpeed Cache may store a small cookie to serve cached pages efficiently. The site cannot function properly without these.
  • Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics, installed through Site Kit by Google, to count visits and understand which pages readers find useful. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> that store an anonymised identifier. We only receive aggregated statistics.

Third-Party Cookies

When you click a link that goes to a retailer or advertising partner, that third party may set its own cookies according to its own policy. We do not control these cookies. Google may also use data collected by its tags in accordance with Google’s partner site policies.

How to Control Cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

To opt out of Google Analytics entirely, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
